Minuet in G is probably the most famous piece by Bach that we can comprehensively say was not by him, but by 17th Century Organist Christian Petzold. Petzold was based in Dresden, which Bach later visited and put in a notebook for his wife. After being used in a Pop song in the 1960s called "A Lover's Concerto", its origins were further investigated and its true composer discovered.
